On June 5, 2026, Chișinău Arena hosted the first day of Moldova Digital Summit 2026 – the largest technology and digital transformation event in the history of the Republic of Moldova. Over two thousand participants, dozens of exhibition pavilions, four parallel stages and international-caliber speakers, including Marta Kos, European Commissioner for Enlargement, among the first to take the main stage at the arena during the summit’s morning session.

DAAC digital was present not as an ordinary participant, but as a strategic partner of the event, alongside AmCham Moldova.

The Pavilion That Drew Attention

In the Expo area of Chișinău Arena, DAAC digital and AmCham Moldova jointly occupied one of the most visible exhibition spaces at the summit – US Tech Corner & Media Zone. The combination of large-format LED screens, the unified DAAC digital – AmCham branding and the visually distinctive atmosphere turned the pavilion into a natural focal point in the middle of the Expo floor. Visitors did not simply pass by – they stopped, engaged in conversation, and some took photos against the backdrop of the installation.

Throughout the day, the DAAC digital team held dozens of conversations—with partners, clients, representatives of public institutions, and IT professionals from the local ecosystem.

Media Zone in Action

The dedicated space within the pavilion delivered on its purpose. The Realitatea TV crew chose the DAAC digital – AmCham Moldova stand as the backdrop for live broadcasts aired throughout the day, including during the programme “Ora de Live cu Traian.”

In his conversation with Traian Stoianov, Alexandru Savinov, CEO of DAAC digital, offered a direct assessment of the local market’s digital maturity:

“Moldova is like a sandbox where many major vendors test their technologies. We are well ahead of many other countries, including those with significantly larger budgets. What we bring is the experience of implementing these solutions within Moldova’s realities, and the assurance that clients have a local team they can turn to at any time.”

The statement reaffirms the company’s position: DAAC digital does not simply deliver technology – it integrates it and makes it work within the specific context of the Moldovan market, in partnership with Oracle, IBM, Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet.

US Tech Experience Panel – Powered by AmCham

One of the defining moments of the day was the “US Tech Experience Panel – Powered by AmCham,” moderated by Nick Pietrowicz, Chargé d’affaires of the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of Moldova. The panel brought together senior representatives: Martin Krajci – Senior Manager CEE Account Cloud Engineering, Oracle; Andrei Perețianu – Regional Sales Manager, Palo Alto Networks; Alain Sanchez – EMEA CISO, Fortinet; and Daniel Mitroi – Dr., IBM.

The DAAC digital team followed the panel from the audience – not as passive observers, but as integrators who work daily with these companies’ solutions in the Moldovan market. Discussions on digital sovereignty, cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity are not abstract for DAAC digital. They are live projects.

What MDS 2026 Meant for DAAC digital

Beyond visibility, MDS 2026 confirmed something more significant: DAAC digital’s standing as a trusted partner of the world’s leading technology vendors – Oracle, IBM, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet and others – and as an authorized integrator that brings these solutions to the local level, backed by a certified team and practical experience built over more than two decades in the Moldovan market.

Being present at Moldova Digital Summit 2026 as AmCham’s strategic partner, with a dedicated pavilion in the Expo area and direct media visibility, was not a branding exercise. It was a public demonstration of what DAAC digital does every day: connecting global technology with the real needs of organizations in the Republic of Moldova.
