On October 2, 2025, the Moldovan IT community gathered at the White Tower for an event that combined technological innovation, business dialog and active networking: Build for AI – Dell × Vertiv DC Day: Compute, Data, Power, Cooling. Organized by DAAC digital, in partnership with Dell Technologies and Vertiv, the event brought together around 50 attendees, mostly technology decision-makers – IT executives, CIOs, infrastructure managers, cybersecurity experts and solution architects.

The event kicked off with an opening message from the organizers, who stressed the importance of integrating AI and modern digital infrastructures into every organization’s strategy. AI is radically changing the demands on data centers, and servers processing large volumes of information are putting significant pressure on cooling infrastructure and energy consumption. Vertiv’s solutions, presented in detail, demonstrated how energy efficiency and sustainability are becoming critical factors for data center competitiveness.
Panel discussion and exchange of experience
A highlight of the day was the joint Dell + Vertiv panel, moderated by the DAAC digital team. Discussions focused on real-world problem solving scenarios and the competitive advantages these two brands offer over other solutions on the market. Attendees asked questions about how they can integrate compute, storage and cooling into a unified ecosystem capable of meeting the increasing demands generated by AI.
Networking and outdoor activities
In addition to the technical part, the event included networking and socializing. Participants enjoyed outdoor sports competitions: archery, long-distance shot put and other activities that created a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Archery was one of the main attractions, both in the training and team competition. The day ended with a culinary program at the barbecue, which provided the perfect setting for informal discussions and strengthening professional relationships.
