Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests for web applications (UI and API);
• Perform functional, regression, load, stress, and other types of testing;
• Create test cases and test plans, and keep them up to date;
• Analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve them;
• Set up and maintain test infrastructure for automated testing;
• Support CI/CD processes and integrate automated tests into pipelines;
• Prepare test reports and share results with the development team.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in automated testing of web applications, with the ability to create automated tests for both frontend and backend;
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, Playwright, TestCafe, Appium, etc.), plus REST API testing and related tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured);
• Experience writing automated tests in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, C#) aligned with your chosen framework;
• Experience with load and stress testing, knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, Locust, or similar), and the ability to analyze results to identify bottlenecks;
• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD: Git and integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps);
• Experience with test management and defect tracking systems, and tools for maintaining test cases and defects;
• Understanding of testing and development processes, including testing principles and methods (functional, regression, smoke, integration, system, UAT) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), with experience in similar teams;
• Experience with log analysis tools;
• Experience in security testing is preferred;
• Ability to write SQL queries for database validation and data checks.
