DAAC digital was once again a loyal partner of the event and brought to the stage and the expo area two complementary tracks of digital transformation in banking: biometric identification\/eKYC and a secure self-service experience on DN Series 200 ATMs. <\/p>\n<h4>What we brought on stage: eKYC with biometric identification<\/h4>\n<p>Our special guest, Timur Miyassarov (Director of the International Business Development Directorate, UZINFOCOM, Uzbekistan), delivered a talk on biometric identification and eKYC \u2014 a topic essential for digital onboarding, fraud prevention and compliance. The core message was clear: identity verification must be both safer and easier for the user. <\/p>\n<p>The modern eKYC flow described by the speaker focused on two key components:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liveness detection \u2014 it confirms there is a real person in front of the camera, not a photo or a deepfake.<\/li>\n<li>Face recognition \u2014 it compares the captured image with a trusted reference in authorized databases, reducing the risk of impersonation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These capabilities shorten onboarding time, cut operational costs tied to manual checks, and significantly lower exposure to fraud attempts. For banks and fintechs, the immediate gain is a better conversion-to-risk ratio, and for customers \u2014 a smooth experience without branch visits. <\/p>\n<h4>What we showcased in the expo: ATM DN Series 200<\/h4>\n<p>In the exhibition area we presented a terminal from the <strong><br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dieboldnixdorf.com\/en-us\/banking\/portfolio\/dn-series\/lobby-atms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Diebold Nixdorf DN Series 200<\/a><br \/>\n<\/strong>, a platform built for modern self-service in lobby-type spaces. We emphasized a clear balance between user experience and physical security: <\/p>\n<p><em><b>User experience (UX)<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cardless &amp; contactless: support for contactless\/cardless authentication (e.g., NFC\/QR) with a short, intuitive path for routine transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Accessibility: ergonomic design and predictable on-screen interaction with clear guidance.<\/li>\n<li>Modularity: the same footprint supports functional extensions as needs evolve \u2014 a future-ready investment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><b>Layered physical security<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A robust mechanical structure and anti-tamper components designed to reduce the physical attack surface.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Premium lock <a href=\"https:\/\/sargentandgreenleaf.com\/product\/a-series-with-display\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sargent &amp; Greenleaf A-Series with Display<\/a><\/strong>: one-time codes, dual control and access logging (audit log) for traceability and faster authorized interventions, resulting in reduced downtime and lower operating costs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The DN Series 200 model showcased at FMC 2025 is already deployed by some fintech clients in the Republic of Moldova in projects modernizing self-service networks. The interest expressed at the conference confirms the potential to scale for institutions that want to combine fast user journeys with high security standards. <\/p>\n<h4>Why this combination matters<\/h4>\n<p>Trusted digital identity and payments\/self-service infrastructure are two sides of the same transformation. Biometrics and eKYC reduce friction at entry and strengthen risk control; DN Series 200 ATMs deliver a fast, consistent and auditable interaction to the customer within an end-to-end secured kiosk. Together, these solutions create a seamless banking experience: from account opening to everyday operations, with a higher level of safety.  <\/p>\n<h4>The team and the dialogue with the ecosystem<\/h4>\n<p>At the event our colleagues Alexandru Savinov (Sales Director, DAAC digital) and Ion Florea (Engineer, DAAC digital) ran demos, answered technical questions and discussed integration scenarios for current and future projects.
