DAAC System Integrator - Silver Sponsor of ‘Moldova ICT Summit’ annual conference

DAAC System Integrator, a member of the international IT group DAAC digital, traditionally took part in the annual conference ‘Moldova ICT Summit’and, this time, as a Silver Sponsor. In 2021, this was the 10th conference in a row and was organized by Moldovan Association of ICT Companies in partnership with Invest Moldova Agency, the German Corporation for International Cooperation GIZ Moldova, with the support of Tekwill project, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Government of Sweden.

The conference program and rules were adjusted by the new realities of 2020-2021;therefore, aspects as the ‘remote’world and ‘remote’trade were also discussed. The main topic of Moldova ICT Summit 2021 was digital transformation and the latest trends, opportunities and IT solutions that can be used in the interests of developing business and economy as a whole, as well as improving the quality of public services.

According to Sergiu Gincu, Director General at DAAC System Integrator, Moldova ICT Summit 2021 demonstrated that the IT industry has made a quantum leap in its development, advancing from the service sector to the opinion leader. From the entire range of issues and problems voiced at the conference, IT companies have either solutions or, at least, an understanding of the direction in which they need to move in order to resolve the problems. Especially taking into account international practices and the significant advantage the digital progress has, namely, blurring the boundaries and distances for discussion and exchange of knowledge. It was also gratifying to note that the IT industry in Moldova continues its rapid growth and Moldovan IT companies are becoming increasingly prominent participants in the markets of Europe and the CIS countries.
